With the constant work of quite a few dedicated developers, PSVita homebrew is not only created but it keeps on getting updated. This time around, VitaShell, the most important utility on HENkaku-enabled devices, got updated to version 1.8.

What is VitaShell?

VitaShell is a file manager for the PSVita that does a lot more than just manage files! It is the most installed homebrew on HENkaku-enabled Vitas since it’s installed either in the form of MolecularShell (got up to v1.43) or in its standalone VitaShell form.

Love how it auto-updates <3 Thank you for mentioning that.

I believe version 2.00 will offer something bigger like an XMB-like GUI that completely replaces the original one.

anytime I try to install Vitashell even using molecularshell I get error code 0x80101139 and I have no idea why, any ideas?

you could have googled it;

Tho whom encounter Error 0x80101114 or error 0x80101139 at installing an update for vitaShell, it seems to happen when VitaShell has been moved to the internal storage.

To fix it:
– install Application Storage Manager v0.02 by Lupo511
– move vitaShell back from internal to storage (second option)
– install VitaShell update through Molecularshell (it should be working now), after this you can move vitaShell back to the internal storage if you like
